ABOUT

Natalia Perez is a photographer of Puerto Rican descent whose passion for the medium was ignited after she was offered a slightly damaged film camera at a local camera shop. She learned much of what she knows about photography by taking images on film, and, after falling in love with the medium, she began to realize that she wanted to pursue it professionally.

Now residing in Atlanta, GA, Natalia is currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has enjoyed learning more about both film and digital photography, as well as how both can be vehicles for exploring themes that are important to her.

Her work seeks to capture the small moments in life that are often missed or unappreciated, and often incorporate themes of relationships, movement and the urban landscape. Whether it be through a series of portraits or photographs of objects, she hopes that her work inspires others to think more deeply about the world we live in.
