Through My Eyes

This collection of black and white film photographs, which I began taking over two years ago, started as an outlet through which I explored different places with my growing collection of film cameras. The resulting body of work presents a narrative of isolation and solitude, but also one of melancholy and hope. As someone who experiences these emotions more often than not, I would argue that this is, to date, the most personal group of photographs I have created and put together. It is through the process of taking these images that I have found myself and continue to learn more about how I view the world.
